We are looking for entrepreneurial independent-minded sales leaders to effectively "run their own business" and join our rapidly growing team. If you have a passion for Power Systems, Generators and "all things electrical" and for the opportunity to sell an iconic brand of the highest quality, best supported products in the industry, we look forward to hearing from you.



The territory will cover from the NY/CAN border south to the Capital District area and from the Tri County border of Herkimer/Fulton and Montgomery County to just East of the Berkshires in Western MA.



The exclusive dealer of Caterpillar equipment in the Northeast, Milton CAT is one of the largest Caterpillar dealerships in the world and the "big kid's sandbox" for the most recognizable Power Systems Equipment on the planet. Milton CAT is looking to invest in and develop the right candidate to drive business of small to larger Power Products and Energy Systems (generators, air compressors, switchgear, temperature control equipment, etc.) in Eastern New York. This field position involves being on the road, setting up meetings, prospecting new business opportunities, executing "business conversations" on critical issues and closing business with valued customers and prospects.














Qualifications










Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
Competitive nature, Driven to succeed, Hate to lose
Passion for power products (generators, air compressors, switchgear, temperature control equipment, etc.)
Solid leadership qualities (examples of initiative)
2 to 5+ years of sales experience
Strong QUESTIONING techniques that drive "business conversations" (Discovery/PAIN)
Eager to embrace technology (cell phones, IPads, CRM, etc.)
Hungry to learn and an ability to apply new knowledge
Technical background/degree (EE, ME, Diesel, other) or similar work experience
